SIRPRO joins forces with Global Intermediaries!
|
|
Eugene, OR - March 1, 2005
SIRPRO, an independent national large account wholesaler, has joined forces with Global Intermediaries of St. Louis (GIS) to create Global
Intermediaries Holding (GIH), a national platform for large account wholesalers. SIRPRO will become Global Intermediaries of Eugene (GIE)
and will be run by former SIRPRO Vice President, Judd Feldman. Ron Cramer, the former President of SIRPRO, will become a consultant
for the new company. GIE will work hand in hand with Mark Hart, President of GIS, who has an extensive background in reinsurance placement
and large account wholesale. Global Intermediaries as a group will focus on large account wholesale, reinsurance placement, and
wholesale acquisition. With the marriage of SIRPRO and GIS, Global Intermediaries Holding has assembled an extensive array of both
domestic and non-domestic market resources. Global Intermediaries will continue SIRPRO's tradition of Internet-driven account marketing,
high quality proposals, and creative solutions that have placed them amongst the best large account wholesalers in the U.S.

About SIRPRO
|
|
SIRPRO was founded by public entity specialist Ron Cramer in 1996 to provide excess liability insurance for NW public
entities. Ron's superior knowledge of public entities fueled the program's creativity and growth with a grass
roots movement in the risk management community. In 1998, SIRPRO added team member Judd Feldman, fresh from the
pharmaceutical industry, to the sales and marketing staff. Cramer and Feldman eventually expanded the program to
a national basis. SIRPRO has introduced public entities and their agents around the nation to over 6 new companies,
unlimited different endorsements, and new underwriting systems.
In addition, SIRPRO was one of the first
companies to harness the power of the Internet
and e-mail, all
in an effort to provide the broadest coverage available
in an efficient manner. Over time, SIRPRO has evolved into the research and
development department for many public entities.
SIRPRO has always understood the importance of educated risk managers and has been one
of PRIMA's top sponsors on both state and national levels. Since 1996, SIRPRO has compiled a sophisticated
technical library which aids their insureds in the pursuit of the best program solution. In addition, SIRPRO
has always remained independent and continues that tradition with Global Intermediaries.
All these items have proven to be a potent combination over time. Now the tradition will continue
with Global Intermediaries of Eugene. Call Judd L. Feldman at (888) 474-7776 for more information or, send him an
e-mail.

Note from the New GIE President
|
|
To All!
First, as the new president of GIE, I would like to say thanks to all prior and current customers of SIRPRO, both agents and companies. Over
the last 10 years, Ron and I have really enjoyed doing business with such professional agents, risk managers and underwriters. All
of the PRIMA conventions, conference calls, and
e-mails really were enjoyable, they were! Not much is going to change here at
old SIRPRO, just the name. We will continue to provide the market speed service, expertise, and
the excellent product line we are known for. We are simply adding
horsepower with our new partners as well as expanding our product line. One great benefit of teaming with GIS is our
new ability to provide direct access to the reinsurance marketplace. Don't worry, Ron will continue to be active in the program, so you won't miss him.
We know the distribution system is changing. We would like to restate that we are as independent as ever, thus fulfilling your
fiduciary responsibility to your clients! So remember, when you hire Global Intermediaries, you hire
experts that have been strengthened by the free hand of competition.
We urge you to give us a call and investigate Global Intermediaries,
Your Modern Insurance Wholesaler and Reinsurance Specialist.
Sincerely,
Judd Feldman, President, Global Intermediaries of Eugene

Fly of the month "March Brown"
|
|
Scientific Name: Rhithrogena morrisoni
Other Common Names: Western March brown
In many rivers, the March browns are the first large mayflies of the new year.
After a winter of fussy and unpredictable hatches of tiny blue-winged olives and even tinier midges,
the March browns are the heralds of all the delights of the next nine months.
